$KI · paired with WBTC

Kimchi Inu · Solana

The original kimchi premium.

A Shiba with a jar of kimchi and a Korean word for energy. $KI trades against Bitcoin, because the kimchi premium was always about Bitcoin. Every transfer pays 1%, shared out in Bitcoin to everyone holding $20 or more of $KI.

01

What KI means

기ki / gi · noun

Energy. Spirit. The thing that makes kimchi alive.

In Korean, 기 (ki) is life energy, the same idea as qi in Chinese and ki in Japanese. You hear it in words like 기운 (gi-un), "vigor", and in the way people talk about food that gives you strength.

Kimchi is a living food. It keeps fermenting in the jar long after it is made. Kimchi Inu is named for that: a dog with a lot of ki.

02

The kimchi premium

When Bitcoin costs more in Seoul.

"Kimchi premium" is a crypto term for the price gap that opens when Bitcoin trades higher on South Korean exchanges than on exchanges elsewhere. Strict rules on moving money in and out of Korea make it hard to close the gap, so it can last for weeks. During the 2017–2018 run it reached double digits, and traders still watch it as a sign of Korean demand.

Illustration only. Drag the slider. A 15% kimchi premium means Bitcoin costs 115 in Korea for every 100 elsewhere.

So we paired $KI with WBTC. Every $KI is priced in Bitcoin and holder rewards are paid in Bitcoin. It is the kimchi premium, in a jar.

03

Meet Ki

He holds 75% of the kimchi.

Ki is a young inu with expensive taste. He flies private, parks a black supercar wherever he likes and shows you his watch before he says hello. Nobody knows where he came from. Everybody knows he holds 75% of the kimchi. The supply of $KI is a different story: it launches on a public bonding curve, like everyone else's.

Token

Rewards paid in Bitcoin.

Paired withWBTCThe pool is $KI/WBTC, but you do not need WBTC: swap in with SOL, USDC or other Solana tokens and the route converts for you.
Holder rewards1%Every $KI buy, sell and transfer, on any venue, pays a 1% tax, fixed at launch. The tax builds up until it is worth selling, then it is swapped to WBTC and sent pro rata to every wallet holding $20 or more of $KI. No staking, nothing to claim. About 2.5% of it covers network and operating costs.
Creator fee0%No separate creator fee. The team is treated like any other holder. Stonk.fun charges its own 1.25% fee on every trade: buy, sell or transfer.

A round trip (buy, then sell) pays the 1% tax twice. Rewards depend on trading volume, so they fall when volume falls, and WBTC itself can drop in price. This page may contain errors. For the exact rules of the 1% holder rewards, see Stonk.fun.

How the 1% splits

Your cut of the 1% that day$1.00
Simple example: 1% of the day's volume, times your share of the supply. Wallets holding less than $20 of $KI get nothing. Real volume is unknown and can be zero. This is not a forecast or a promise.
